Library Hours

  • Monday 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • Thursday * 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Friday 7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

* Library hours are subject to volunteer availability. Volunteers are needed to keep the library open on Thursday afternoons. If you can help, call the librarian at 488-2164.

  • Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Summer Reading Program

The Summer Reading Program will be held every Tuesday starting on June 9 and ending on July 14. Program hours are 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Storytelling, activities, movies, and refreshments will be included!

Mission Statement

Tri-Community Library exists to promote enlightenment, enrichment, creativity, and recreation in the Tri-Community area.

Collection

The Tri-Community Library houses over 8,000 books. The library also has over 100 books on cassette (fiction & non-fiction), newspapers (Lockhart Post Register, Luling Newsboy, Lockhart Sentinel, and the Austin American Statesmen), periodicals, as well as tax forms available to the general public.

Library Programs

Free classes will be offered in basic Computing Skills, Internet, Email, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. They will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Call Lulu at 488-2164 to register.

Free conversational Spanish classes are offered on Tuesdays. Class time: 6:00 - 8:00pm.

Circulation Policy

Patrons are allowed to check out 2 books at a time for up to 2 weeks.

Computer Policy & Services

Computers with Internet and Office 2000 applications are available to Prairie Lea ISD students, as well as, local Tri-Community residents. All patrons who use the library computers must have the current Acceptable Use Policy on file at the library desk.
